Dirk
& Jeroen met at the brussels filmschool RITCS where they
collaborated on several student films.
After school, they joined forces to direct ‘Iconen’ for Belgium’s cultural television channel Canvas. This documentary series about lifestyle was followed by ‘Het Vermogen’, a Canvas series about socio-economics. While working on both series they got the opportunity to write & direct a short film for Rudolf Mestdagh’s production company CosmoKino. The result was ‘Up’ which caught the eye of several film festivals because of its fresh look and compelling narrative. Today, Dirk continues to make programs for television while Jeroen is working as an assistant director in the Belgium film industry. The duo still works together on commercials, corporate films and future cinema to come!
