CosmoKino is a film
production company
based in the capital of Europe : Brussels/Belgium, founded in 1989 by
writer director producer Rudolf Mestdagh.
After the production of many short
films and middle length films,
as well as commercials,
the
company’s
main activity these days is the production and development of feature
films.
CosmoKino is experienced in co-producing features films with
Holland, Germany, France and Italy and the European Community. It
offers worldwide producers the possibilty to raise money through the
Belgian Film Funds and the Tax Shelter System in Belgium that has
proved successful to attract foreign producers to benefit from private
investment.
CosmoKino offers executive production and line production services in
Belgium.
CosmoKino raised
financing for Amsterdam based Circe Films, that resulted in Guernsey,
selected at the Cannes 2006 Film Festival: Director’s
Fortnight, and Wolfsbergen,
selected at the
Berlin 2007 Film festival: Forum.
